NewGen Power Kwinana has a dual impact: powering Western Australia and contributing to local economic growth.
During construction, the power station brought in an estimated $100 million and created over 300 jobs. After joining the South West Interconnected System (SWIS) in 2008, the station now reliably employs around 27 Western Australians full-time.
Environmentally, the station follows high standards to manage the impact of operations. More information can be found here.
The wellbeing of the Kwinana community is important to us. NewGen Kwinana aims to seek opportunities to give back to the local communities and support those who have supported us.
